Hello, welcome to Henheart's Anime Site. Anime is something that I've been interested in for probably my entire life, ever since I first saw an animated "cartoon" as animation was commonly called then. The first animated movie that I can remember seeing was Alice In Wonderland when I was about four years old. It was a Disney movie that was made way back in the 1940's when Disney made most if its high quality animated features. Things like that were what I grew up with as a child, but it wasn't until I was in high school that I became aware of the Japanese animation that many of us are familiar with today. Like with the early Disney works, I was taken with wonderful quality of the animation artwork done by the Japanese anime production houses. And I guess that's what really makes anime special to me - it is artwork set into motion by viewing a sequence of frames. To me how a show is drawn and animated is just as important as character development and the story line. I am very much attracted to shows that are cute and very artistically pretty. The characters and story are also very important to me as well. An anime show or any entertainment for that matter has to leave me feeling something afterwards. It could be sadness, or joy, or anger, or laughter, but I have to feel something otherwise it was just a waste of time. So feel free to look about and see the shows that I've enjoyed in the last few years. Those things should say a great about me.
